I cant wait for this year to end faster. Cos basically 2008 has been a yr that i feel that i totally waste it. doing nothing but serving NS. I feel that i need more time. both for a life and time for myself. I have to be selfish on this cos i realised im one that needs loads of time for myself.

Though 2008 has been a yr dat i feel tt nothing was done. It wasnt unfruitful at all. In fact, this feels better den year 2007. Basically, my prayers r answered and things are achieved. Stop and Stare

Stated that humans are too reliable with the five senses that's apparent to human body. Esp with the deemed most powerful and superior to that of other species on Earth - the Sight. We do things, base things, remember things, predict things from our 5 senses. This kind of handicapped us from some other abilities that we may not even think we'd have. Why do animals be able to sense disasters happening, by wad sense? How do we have dejavu in our dreams on some occasions and be able to keep planning ahead of us. our senses, our brain made us faster then the computors.

Look at the things ard us. The ppl whu needs ur help and the ppl whom u helped. Look at wad happened before and do we rally have control over the things we wanna control. To an extend these may all be planned, but things do lie in our hands. The past may be over, but does it affect the future and the present.

Some ppl think too far ahead of themselves n realise they cannot catch up wih their own thinking. Others, on the other hand, dweel on the ramblings of yesterday. All in all, we can counter both groups of parties with "Grow up lah". So who are the others? only those treasuring wad they possess today.

Pause, rest, stop. Singaporeans will find tt extremely hard to do. Hencefore we can nv define that feeling. if we do, we'll be deleted from the society. I just wish ppl stop n think of wad they actually want...wad they actually want..

The sec one days where i think u are the most feminine in the group cos of ur long black str8 hair. seriously. Hahaha. Sec one u sat in the group behind me and u always give me the "what" look with Jy. HAHA. There are countless stories out there. Countless ones that gives us the motivation. Many of which r depressing, r so hopeful yet wasted. Who doesnt want a happy ending, probably, the best ending is all in the making, it's all well planned.

The Earthquake in China left millions of residents homeless, ppl lose their assets, children lose their parents, parens lose their child.

There was this man.. participated in the rescue team. Digging dirt from the ruins, discarding the piled-up concrete underneath. in search of nothing left. There was possibly nothing one can find from the aftermath. He lost almost everything, He lost his house, yes he lost everything, he lost his family. aft 139 hours of the befall. he dug deep into sandwiches of bricks n walls. He heard a cry. a cry. it's a baby's. He got anxious. there's life. there's something to save. he dug deep. n deeper. not giving up. determined to go all the way into. n finally he dug out a baby with a dislocated neck. He sat at the core of wad he dug, exhuasted from the tough labour, n passed the baby up to other men above receiving the miracle. Though paralysed, the baby's only eye opened wide, squinting at the sudden exposure of outside light. when the baby received adequate medical care n was able to speak... "where's the uncle? where's the uncle that carried me out?" The baby's both eyes were bandaged up. he couldnt see nor cry. just calling out for his saviour...the man got out of the ruins. Climbed up n limped towards what he just saved. The man looked at the little life. he flinched. It is his very own son.

Days passed. wad ppl in China's rescue team can gather are dead bodies, broken limbs, and dried up waste. All devastated. It's like a whole pool of nothing left. all just part of substances returning to mother nature. There lies this woman. Possibly one of the luckiest woman. lucky not because she's alive. no, she's taken. As rescue team was clearing the scene, it was the turn of the woman's body, underneath yet another overweighing broken downs. There is something more. As they carried the woman's body off the original position. They found a child beneath her tattered body. Her son. as wished, hugged close to the already-liveless body survived the tragedy. Wad is disheartening to know is the woman has her breast out... her son's mouth still attached to the best food source for her son. still nibbling on... the mother did not die immediately aft the collapse. The two was trapped. The mom probably starved to death while shielding her son. but she thought of the best way to keep her son alive. n inside the son's clothes lies this handphone on the message screen..."孩子，如果你能活下来，你要知道妈妈爱你。”

This young man. travelled all the way, miles across China, right into the shattered scene of the disater aftermath. In search for his love, in search for this girl whom he planned to marry this yr. he wasn't at the scene when the disaster struck. He didnt meet his girlfriend out as he has his problems to attend to at home. n he blamed himself for that.. He rushed all the way down. Climbed on the concretes and slide down the fields. No notice board was available on whu's missing or found. he just continue searching. Till den, he saw one visible hand lying patiently outside a whole cave of ruins. He couldnt move any of the concrete away above wad's trapped under it. he could only see the hand lying outside . He recognised that hand. He recognised it str8 away. that hand belongs to his girlfriend. He didnt know wad to do except for lying beside that unidentified hand. Clutching it. He said stories to that hand, he shield it from the sun and rain, he didnt sleep nor eat. for 3 days he laid with that hand, witnessing the rescue being done n just prayed it would be fast forwarded. he continue to say stories.

The girl was brought out of the lighter ruins.

He was right, she is indeed his only love... Her girlfriend laid beside the now exhuasted boyfriend, smiled n said slowly, "when i didnt hear your voice, death god was just beside me"

Thank you mom, for all the things u've done for me. Since i was a child always teaching me right from wrong, offering kisses whenever a teacher praises me. Rmb the time u defended me when i elbowed a girl from my chinese tuition n made her vomit. Haha, the number of times i find money in my wallet, the number of clothes u washed for me. The way u say no when i wanna play, the curfews u set and boudaries in terms of use of language. Caught Dance of the Dragon last night. It was more of an art flim. Which is still far from those other produced outside, let's say, China, or Korea. Maybe Singaporeans still have a long way to go to really ace this genre. So, as good as this movie sound, Dance of the dragon (there's pretty much no link to the title). the movie isnt one to go gaga over.

I'd say. watch the movie if u want to listen to unoriginal music tracks throughout the movie (including themesong from windstruck and "Hero") and if u just want to see Korean actor Jang Hyuk(who stripped several times to make up for the movie) or guys whu adore Fann. Dont watch the show to watch any dance. cos there isnt.

But i have to say. the movie posters and movie stils for this movie's well taken. too bad it scored 1.5 upon 5 stars only.

Something's gonne screw up in my life soon. My department in my unit is gonna crumble. There will no longer have any officers and spcialists come June. All of them are officially freed from NS. Following that, there will sort of be running the dept without "commanders". Therefore, for the past few weeks, while they r still here, they tend to internally promote some of us to higher ranks to take the lead.

Rmb my motion during NS? to slack it off. It's still the same. no change. so i wont do more shit with the ssame pay too. even though the title held is a platoon sgt. still...it'll only sound nice. NS is grey. U dunno the shit u get inside.

The weird thing is. I was selected to go for medic course. I think my vocation's changing to medic. meaning im going to be on course agn. shit ahoy. my dept ppl wanna keep me( at least i think so). Been hanging out with weird ppl a lot. Ultimately, wad ppl say r right. The best friends u can ever find n would love to grow old with will be the clique. The clique u been through most with. The clique be it from primary school or secondary school, once formed. it's hard to break the bond.

Yes as we grow old it gets more difficult to hang out, to catch up, even to talk on the phone. i wanna share something during my highway situational problem test, which equals to advance theory. a group of 3 trainees enter the test room to take the situations from 1 tester. I rmbed mine was a Fat Indian. He started off by asking wad sch we were from. we were from, RJ, CJ n me TPJ respectively. When he heard tt i was from TPJ, he showed displease n gave me a smirk. "Ur sch is a lousy school, i'll expect more from the others". Seriously, I was very irritated by tt comment. How can some1 be so insensitively lunatic. SO WAD if im from a neighborhood sch. Yes... finally to me but not to all others, year 2007 has ended. The start of a new calender has just began n there're alrd lots of well wishings n sincere handshakes to return to. 2008 will defintely be more ramblings for unprecedented events to come, probably busier n probably less lively to others. All in all, as long as one still hold on to the meaning of true zest of achieving ones goal in ur life, 2008 wont be wasted like any other years =)

2007 has been the most unlivable, the most un-prosperous n the most unique to me. Events of entering a new environment, the receiving of the horrid facts to the opening up of new personal ideas r all introduced. new knowledge, fresh thinkings n eclipsed experiences r all finished in 2007. As much as one isnt willing to be 100% acceptant of just discoveries, many did make me a better person. I figured tt if i follow what i usually pursue, follow closely to wad me n my heart wants, i will eventually =) u guys may not agree, but i belong to a determined group of sapiens. haha.

Searching for it may be tough. but as u're working towards ur deem-impossible everest goal, n the times u feel tt why shld i even bother n take an easier route, do look back at the less lucky lot whu aren't able to even reach for theirs. or rather, look at ur past. do u want to make a difference to it or not.

2007 made me realise the ugliest truth of nature, but also made me taste the rare fruits of from-within happinesss. I just have to say ha! i been in both worlds n done both. haha tt's not self console, tt's just thanking the exisistence of truth. Yes i do feel inferior at times. esp the times words tried to put me down n maybe on other occasions i see how smiley ppl ard me get. i just wanna be like them. and den i realise. arent me as smiley as them alrd? or maybe was. =)

spent the first few hours of a hopeful 2008 with my greatest pals all these yrs.. We've been chatting. Chatting abt the most brainless, to the most controversial, to the most wanted value of all. Love? haha. Im in no position to tok abt all these. But i realised how impt is it to leave most crappings aside just to sit down in a quiet room with the doors closed n fans on, sitting ard the bed tugging in and just chatting with friends can gain so much. for each other. I dunno how much my friends hear but i do hear lots of opinions ard. Kindof enjoy hearing all their stuff with the other better half. all my bimbos actually have a deep condolesence for love! muaha. Do the less protective ones always get the sense of insecurity so easily? Does the little testa n tricks they suggest in the r/s work? Wad if such tests backfire. Do you really need one reason why you like some1? wont u feel like it's dumb to continue with tt reason, or would u rather hear 'i dunno'? it's different for all. ppl r dumb to what they really want. Yes, they were rather satisfied with wad they have now...but they wanna give themself options! they wanna see maybe they have some1 more able to settle with. maybe they can find the all rounder. MAYBE. hahaha. c' on girls. give ur mates an option. An option to let them have u all their lives. Let them have tt one n only choice. Things r difficult in a r/s. Recently i have the feel-like-studying feeling. Esp when i visit places like MacDonalds, airport and any possible place that is air conditioned. I see groups and individuals slothing their way thru their books and notes. It really bring back times when i was in their position. being so ignorant abt the things i shld do well in. I was asked if i believe in studying outside home. like such study areas. My answer's why not? but the macdonalds at tamp mart is terrible. Birthday parties for children are held there every weekends and to think tt we can stand the noise inside the enclosed room with hollering kids is hard enuff to believe, let alone study there. I feel old now. Even when there isnt much external distraction, studying with ur really close and lame friends can be harmful. Yea, kids.. tsk tsk. At times when i see the next generation "kids" playing a fool above their lying notes, i feel like gg over and knocking some sense into them, "SHUT THE F#()* UP AND STUDY". den i'll leave with "thank you, pleasure to help" But yea, I'll probably get shot from behind after tt. kids.. but i do hope my cousin do well in O levels. and my other friends in their A levels. I know encouraging words dun really help much. but hey, look forward to the rewards AFTER exams, yea?

Went to this restuarant at City Hall for the first time. IT's called Rock Star. is it? haha. anyway the food there's not too bad. better den i expect i must say. So i'll help do a little advertisement here.

The rest has this promotion on pizza when i was there. 6 inch pizza gg at $4.90. It wasntt tt bad yea? The taste's not tt bad either.

I ordered Lagsane too. The middle plate. Normally i get sick of the taste aft one quarter of the dish. But this doesnt make me feel tt. In fact i can fish my portion pretty easily. ( now im thinking tt maybe my appetite really increased)

yea... Im here for updating. How are u guys. hehe. Im fine. very fine actually. Quite happy with my posting to the new department etc. Some of my superiors are quite nice. More welfare of cos. Like allowance of psp, charger, mp3, handphone keep on our own etc. cool.

Just to give an insight on wad im doing.. Im under survey/S2 platoon. im now a trainee undergoing survey course. Survey is like the eys of the battalion. meaning b4 any mission we'll set off to the place to see the ground and "survey" the place. Den report back to the battalion for them to do wadeevr they need to do. Other then these exercises, my platoon will be managing S2 office. Under the HQ (meaning quite slack) hehehe. S2 department of the HQ is in charge of Intelligence and Security. Like approval of ppl's psp and their cigarette. etc. haha. other then tt, paperwork paperwork! fun. haha

K, enuff of NS, how are u guys? my tv in the hse is spolit! urgh. initiatly wanted to get a bigger plama to replace it. but mom decided to just repair the old one (damn!) haha. kk. save save. so impt. save...

I MISS NDP. wonder why im so patriotic huh? hahaa. Ndp rehearsals are so so so enjoyable. Simply because we get to escape in camp trainings and feel tt we are civilian agn. Hahaha. Get to eat fast food or food court. can wear the red hang ten shirt and jeans ans belt! hahaha. ok sounds stupid to u all but it's like a priviledge!

yea, I make it a point to watch the fireworks display everytime. I tell u, there are just beautiful and magnificent.

Guys! from the 10 to the 12 of August there's an event happening at clark quay. It's called the "Weekend Grooves" There are performances, dance, free coupons, discount on food and beverages, and free services like airbrush tattoo, caligraphy with ur name and fortune telling! it's fun! and u can end the day off with fireworks too. very close scale somemore. trust me, party g-ers will like it.

Though i mostly watch performance from 2 of the contestants, i really wil wonder does Singapore singing competition stand a chance against other countries. if u guys know what im talkin abt.. Look at how high the standard the taiwanese singers are! They really go for vocals. not looks.

Im getting quite fine actually. I realise the power of blogs. Aft i tok abt how miserable army life is, I receive so many consoling words for encouragement! haha. Thanks to all those who cared. I really appreciated them. =)

I heard from sir tt Im postig out of my current company. To survey platoon. It's the platoon who uses a lot of brain. We do all the studies on the ground and earth to see the gradient etc. Den we report back for the other men to come and do the work like digging if neccessary. Sounds stupid? haha. but it's like better den being combat field pioneers where u just need the brawls.

My sir say the postign is somewad finalised and nothing is to be confirmed yet. But i do hope tt i can get out of my current company and posted out. Haha. But for now i still have to stay with my current platoon for dunno wad... hope it's only helping out in the ndp parade.

Oh yes. Fireworks are super magnificent. I've watched it for like 4 weekends now. And i still find them beautiful. Esp the golden sparkling ones.

to all CO ppl! catch this yr's ndp, cos there's a fusion btw SSO and SCO. (fusion again) ahaha. But i heard it's quite good. and to my CO juniors, happy graduating from tpjco! Happy that u're out? u'll kind of miss it actually. As long as u like CO, u'll miss those days =) dun forget abt CO k.

Hey peeps =D next week will be an important week for me. Hope everything goes as i wished for. and hope things start to change for the better. Some important things are like posting results and specialist checkup.

Only some v lucky ppl will be posted out of my current company( which i am really hoping for) some v lucky ppl. Let' just say i hope im lucky. haha. but i better not expect too much

Specialist checkup will give me a report of my blood test and see how to cure my problem. I hope tt i can have a problem serious enuff to get me out of the current mess. but not serious enough to affect my life =)

Felt tt life is getting tougher. Dun u think so my friends? Esp when i entered army. How depressing it is when u go there and u are in stress of punishments (where u get confined and not allowed to go home) and face with ppl who are nv happy with ur performances? We have to work so hard to get the little bit of welfare. Like few minutes of handphone. With handphone u have to make calls back to ur house to tell ur kin u are so fine and there's nothing to worry abt. But u feel damn F(#$* up and tired but u dun have enuff mins to elaborate more. U rush to the toilet for cooling down btu lights off and u are not supposed to do anything except be on bed? The next morn u wake up and the first thing u know is u will surely get punished for wadever reasons and get so wet at 5.30 am( cos of 200+ pumpings, 80 jumping jacks, alternate leg thusts... etc)

We live in hell. with some close friend inside begging u to step over their knee so they are injured and can be out of there? with conversation everyday abt escaping and being a loser. wad to do? as expected. Army sucks.

I AM STILL STANDING AND WANT TO BE STRONG! OH YEA!!! haha.

New unit, pls be nice

Tml is my first day of my new unit and all.. well, frankly, Im super not looking forward to the start of the new events. But we don't have a choice don't we. hahaha.

It is such a curse to be posted to Jurong. The only reason im hating it is of cos of the distance there. I think for the next 1 yr plus, i will feel tt Singapore is a slow place. Hahaa. I heard a few rumours abt the camp tt it is lousy and all, and being a engineer = bad... But i really dun wanna get affected but my new vocation! hahaha. Encik seems quite pleased tt im there. i really hope so.

Well, maybe jurong is like a school to teach new bloods of engineers and post us out agn? Im not sure of anything at all. I just and pray and hope for the best. Like wad happened to tekong life, it's not tt bad afterall =)

Yea i miss tekong ppl, all so messed up and blur like me, all in the same shoes as we give troubles to our superiors. all those stupid things we'll do and how we took advantage of the system as we get used to BMT life. Maybe my training period isnt tt bad. Maybe things in the unit will improve as I get used to the people there, and adapt to the environment. At least my feet is still on mainland =)

AH.. booo. feeling all so SIANEEEEEDD now, cos tml heading to new camp with everything new. but i know tt im not the only one. everyone going to the new unit is SIANNED... yes there are ppl getting better vocations (lucky arrses) and on the other hand, there are ppl whu got less favorable vocations. I have support from ppl specail so i actually dun have to complain much. The only thing is tt im afraid i meet no one there and be lonely. Tt will suck!
